Tim Wildsmith and Nicholas Petersen AKA The Foresters join me in the studio to talk about their new album, upcoming CD release show and share some tunes. From their bio: The self-titled debut album from The Foresters is a mixture of folk, gospel, and rock that has drawn early comparisons to artists like Mumford & Sons and The Civil Wars. The two-man collaboration of Nicholas Petersen and Tim Wildsmith features layered vocals, rootsy acoustic guitars and pianos, and lyrics reminiscent of classic hymns. Recorded over three days in Omaha with just the two friends and an engineer, the album invites listeners in as they plant their seeds and watch them grow.
