Below is information from the Hear Nebraska facebook page: Hear Nebraska is homegrown, 501(c)(3) nonprofit media that cultivates the state's vibrant, fertile music community. We aim to build Nebraska's reputation as a cultural destination and to help attract and retain its creative class by promoting its artists and small businesses, providing resources and a voice to its bands, fans, venues and promoters, and documenting the state's rich music history. Through trained journalists and community reporters we use new and traditional media to produce original, compelling stories that explain what Nebraska music was, what it is, where it's headed, and what it sounds like.
