This podcast started off as the adult Sunday School class at Faith Free Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN, taught by Jason. Brett brings an outsiders' perspective to the material and keeps Jason mostly on task. The podcast is produced by Pastor Brian Ricke.

The Nicene Creed is the first confession produced by the Church after Christianity had been normalized and accepted in the Roman Empire thanks to Constantine. In it, we have a statement for orthodox theology rather than a statement against heresy. One key takeaway is that Jesus is not a created being (as Arius would have claimed), but rather all things are created through and by Jesus.
