Being Future Ready means making the most of the time, resources, and opportunities you’ve been given, here and now. Being Future Ready isn’t about manufacturing a moment, it’s about not missing the moment in front of you. It isn’t about waiting for some far-off glorious destination. It’s about creating a beautiful journey, one step at a time.

In order to be ready for the future we must allow ourselves to be restored holistically.

You can’t change your past, but you can create the future. You have been given one life. How are you going to make it count?

Engaging in healthy community can, and should, be a spiritual habit we develop. Whether it is a church, at home, or at school, everyone wants to know that they have a place to belong!

As school is set to start, let’s go back to the basics. In this series, we discover what it looks like to explore God and be rooted in the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Our goal is to help each other in knowing that God guides us to make wise choices and He has given us the Bible to grow in obedience, forgiveness, love, and faith.

We use the 5 key concepts of Gateway Kids as a guide to awaken child-like wonder in following Jesus together. Knowing Jesus is not a concept to be grasped, but a person to be experienced.

 If we are ever going to make our faith our own, we’ve got to start spending time with God personally. It means indulging in the Bible, having conversations with God, and discovering how we best connect with God through worship.

What impact does Sunday have on the rest of your week? Does it impact how you live through your week, or do you tend to compartmentalize Sunday from the rest of your week? What stood out to you from the message? Read John 17:13-19.  Read Matthew 22:34-40. Thankfully, Jesus is not cryptic when it comes to discerning God’s primary calling in our lives.  What is it you are passionate about that God is passionate about? Are you doing something about that passion? Why or why not?  What next step can you take to lean into the things you’re passionate about? Maybe it’s time to begin praying about it. Is this something that God wants you to act on now? If so, invite Him to open a door. How can you invite your community in to keep you accountable in taking this next step?
